Recipe for a Spring Mud Pie
Take some water and some dirt,
Stir it, squish it, mix it good.
Shape the mound and rub it smooth,
Make a pie like mama would.
Top the pie with bluebell-blue,
Yellow daffodil so bright.
Lilac's purple adds its hue,
Decorations dress it right.
Let it dry, then gently lift,
all the glory spring has made,
molded by two little hands,
washed and then, in thanks have prayed.
